DOJ Says It Has No Evidence Epstein Trafficked Victims To Other Men

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche told senators Tuesday that the Justice Department has found no evidence that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked victims to other men, while emphasizing that investigators remain willing to pursue anyone linked to Epstein’s crimes if new evidence emerges.

Appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee during his confirmation hearing, Blanche said the department’s current review has uncovered no solid evidence showing Epstein trafficked victims to other individuals for sexual abuse. He cautioned, however, that the absence of evidence does not prove such conduct never occurred.

Blanche noted that investigators have identified numerous people connected to Epstein’s criminal enterprise, but said some of those individuals were victims rather than participants. He stressed that prosecutors are carefully distinguishing between victims, witnesses, and anyone who may have committed criminal offenses.

The acting attorney general encouraged anyone with firsthand knowledge of additional crimes to come forward, saying the Justice Department remains committed to following credible evidence wherever it leads. He pledged that any person found to have committed crimes connected to Epstein’s trafficking operation would be prosecuted.

Blanche also rejected suggestions that the Epstein investigation has been closed. He said experienced prosecutors in New York and Florida continue reviewing evidence and that the department remains prepared to open new cases if new information is uncovered.

His testimony comes as the Justice Department continues facing questions about its handling of the Epstein files and broader investigation. Blanche acknowledged criticism surrounding prior document releases but said the department remains focused on protecting victims while ensuring any prosecutable evidence is fully investigated.
