President Trump Blasts Federal Judge Over Kennedy Center Ruling After Biden Connection Revealed

President Donald Trump erupted Saturday after a federal judge ordered his administration to remove his name from the “Trump Kennedy Center,” accusing the Obama-appointed jurist of political bias after reports surfaced that the judge’s wife represents former President Joe Biden.

US District Court Judge Christopher Cooper ruled Friday that the administration must remove President Trump’s name from the building’s facade within two weeks, declaring that “Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name, and only Congress can change it.”

The judge also ordered the administration to pause plans to close the facility for a large-scale renovation project.

President Trump responded with a lengthy Truth Social post attacking Cooper as a “Trump Hating Judge” and “Radical Left Democrat.”

“Can you imagine?” President Trump wrote. “A Barack Hussein Obama Judge named Christopher Cooper has stopped a magnificent structural and aesthetic rebuilding of The Trump Kennedy Center.”

The president argued the facility was in severe disrepair and said his administration had planned a major overhaul involving “Millions of Dollars of material, marble, furniture, steel, air conditioning, heating, and so much else.”

President Trump claimed the project would transform the building from one that was “rusted, rotted, and rat and bug infested” into “the Finest anywhere in the World.”

The ruling drew additional scrutiny after reports highlighted that Cooper’s wife, attorney Amy Jeffress, currently represents former President Biden in legal disputes tied to the release of audio recordings from Biden’s classified documents interview with former special counsel Robert Hur.

Jeffress previously worked with the House January 6 committee and also represented former FBI attorney Lisa Page.

President Trump seized on those connections Saturday, calling Jeffress an “anti Trump Hater” and accusing the couple of having a conflict of interest.

“That was a reference to Sleepy Joe Biden’s tapes,” President Trump wrote while discussing Jeffress’ legal work.

The president also defended the proposed temporary closure of the arts center, saying it was necessary due to the deteriorating condition of the property.

“The marble is in terrible shape,” he said.

The administration’s broader renovation effort has reportedly included discussions about temporarily shutting down the Kennedy Center for up to two years while repairs and upgrades are completed.

The Kennedy Center signaled it plans to challenge the ruling.

President Trump also hinted Saturday that he may consider permanently shutting down the facility altogether as the legal battle escalates.
