Trump Warns Iran: Make A Deal Or Face Strikes On Power Plants And Bridges
President Donald Trump warned that the United States will launch major strikes against Iran‘s power plants and bridges next week unless the Iranian regime agrees to negotiate an end to the escalating conflict.
Speaking in an interview with Fox News, Trump said military pressure has significantly weakened Iran but argued that additional action may be necessary if Tehran refuses to return to the negotiating table. He said the United States is prepared to target critical infrastructure unless a deal is reached.
“We’re offering a very fair and reasonable deal,” Trump said. “I hope they take it.” He added that if Iran refuses, the United States will move forward with attacks on the country’s power plants and bridges.
The president said he does not currently plan to deploy American ground troops but emphasized that air and naval operations will continue for as long as necessary. He described the Iranian regime as badly weakened while cautioning that it remains capable of mounting resistance.
Trump also revealed that U.S. forces have already struck Kharg Island, Iran’s primary oil export terminal, as part of the ongoing campaign to pressure Tehran economically and militarily. He said additional strategic targets remain under consideration if negotiations fail.
The warning comes after four consecutive days of U.S. airstrikes and a renewed naval blockade of Iranian ports following the collapse of ceasefire efforts. The Trump administration says the campaign is intended to protect international shipping, restore security in the Strait of Hormuz, and force Iran back to the negotiating table.
Iran has rejected Washington’s demands and vowed to continue resisting U.S. military pressure. The escalating conflict has pushed oil prices higher and raised concerns about further instability across the Middle East as both sides continue exchanging threats.
